i have samsung smartphone SGH i600. I want Internet connection through wi-fi. I think its connected to wi-fi becuase i saw one tower symbol in top of my mobile. But I cant able to access any website such as "www.google.com".

When I try to access the website.
it shows error like this


The page cannot be displayed or downloaded because the connection was lost. Check the connection and try again later.

or

The remote party has ended the connection

I dont know whether i setup the connection in correct way.

Could you tell me reason why it shows the above error as well as what the requirement for Internet connection through wi-fi?

If it's your wifi router that you are trying to access to, ensure that you have typed in the password (i.e. WEP or whatever you set it up) before you can get on.

If it's someone else's WiFi, it could be protected or not open for public access.
