I've had about the same battery life on all the windows mobile devices I've had. I guess I've just got used to taking a charger with me if I go away for the weekend! Bottom line is that BT seems to hammer the device. HSDPA is switched on the Touch Plus's by default and you have to find a copy of HSDPASwitch.exe to disable it and that can also hammer the device. There are tweaks on devs here that can help too. I have to say the Touch Dual is one of the worst Windows Mobile phones for battery life I've had. It does get better with time, and with 3G disabled.
