Guest hmoner Posted March 27, 2008 Report Share Posted March 27, 2008 Hi guys I've converted a youtube video to mp3 file (only audio) Then, I edited it with audacity, cut some parts, joined, bla bla, and exported to mp3 again Then I copied the file to \\Windows\Rings but when I try to choose it as a SMS ringtone, it doesn't show I tried converting to wma then copying, but didn't show. It shows when I want to select is as Line1 ringtone (default) Is there any app (I remember having RJV Ringtone Setter) for WM6 that can force a mp3 file to be the SMS ringtone ? My E650 has this problem but as the supplied sms tones are short then its not a problem but if i were to add my own and they ran on a bit normally it would be a pain. As you say its very stupid and something HTC should make sure does not happen on any new products. Do you or anyone know if the HTC Touch has the same Very Very Stupid Design Fault.
