I have been convinced by co workers I need to get a smart phone. I've been looking here locally (Utah) and the more I look the jumbled all the options become. I think I have narrowed my options. If you have any other suggestions that would be great.

First thing of note I have been with AT&T for years long before it became Cingular and was very happy. Then it became Cingular and the billing got completely screwed up now it's AT&T again but sry my contracts up and I'm leaving them. (Every month having to call customer service to have the billing fixed and promises that it won't happen next month, just has gotten old).

T-Mobile has 2 phones I'm interested in. The Dash and the Wing. Pro's , Con's for these two? T-Mobiles monthly contract seems to be the best deal out here 15-20 bucks less than the other two carriers.

Qwest Using Sprints network. The phone here is the Mogul. The service is 20 bucks more than T-mobile but has more features for the other 3 phones on the family plan. Pro's cons of the Mogul?

Verizon The phone here I liked was the Blackberry Pearl. Yeah I know everyone has a pearl but theres something about the size of the phone I like. Verizons network speed seems pretty good here. again 15 bucks more than T-Mobil.

Phone cost is a small consideration. $99 for the dash or Pearl. $250 for the Mogul or Wing. I guess value for the doller is what I'm getting at.

What will I use it for? Since I'm new to this technology I'm not sure. Push E-Mail, don't really need and every one has told me MSN isn't compatable anyway. Web surfing probably the most use. GPS would be nice but I can live with Mapquest or similar. Movie/Video playback for those long afternoons at the inlaws. MP3 is a plus. Camera who cares. I like the Idea of WiFi, which the Pearl doesn't have, allowing me to tap into nearby wireless networks or home.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated on phone I may not know about or network performance issues?
