I've been having bother with the 'ok' button on the front of my Kaiser following flashing the rom. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't sometimes it needs a long press. It worked fine before I flashed it. I was windering if anyone else was having this same problem or if it could be linked to using Button mapper (not that I have mapped 'ok' to do anything other than it should as I don't think you can).
Goodbye WinMo! Hello Android :o)

That little *******!!!
I've gone through and disabled ClearType (AGAIN) and performed a soft reset and now all my menus work in landscape mode.
Well at least thats sorted out then, now I've got nothing to complain about, brilliant ROM, simple as that!
1 question (Really for Paul), when TLR releases incremental updates to the ROM that just fix a few issues but don't reflash, obviously these will not remove any user data (Contacts, SMS, etc), but when he releases a new ROM, which obviously will remove everything, is the user informed about this before hand and also prompted to charge their phone before flashing if its below say 50% charge?
I'm pretty sure you will have already included a warning system and battery low system into AppToDate for the ROM flashing feature, but I'd rather say something than have ppl losing their data or killing their phones cos their batteries wer to low.
For the extras I have installed, I have not had any issues with them with this new ROM, everything is working fine for me!

Will flashing a this ROM also mean that the phone will acept any SIM, if it was previously locked to a network i.e. in my case T-Mobile?

Not in itself, but SIM-Unlocking is necessary to reflash (AFAIK) and is done at the same time, so it's a bi-product.

To unlock the phone to accept any SIMs, try http://www.imei-chec...iser-unlock.php

After you leave your Kaiser sit overnight, check and see if the Touch Sensitivity settings revert back to 400. Mine did it again overnight, with no resets involved. I think it has something to do with the today screen time out. Even though mine is not set to time out.

Mine stayed at 200, using Resco Registry editor. However, I'm still finding the device unresponsive. Sometimes just unusable for about 20 seconds. The keyboard is just a nightmare to use, constantly haveing to go back, unless the phone "is in a good mood" and decides not to have a problem, then it zooms along like it did before, those times are few an far between.

Well, is there anyone that is happy with the update? I am happy with TLR's last release, and I'm thinking that maybe I should hold off on this update? Seems a little buggy? - Kevin

Honestly, I've had enough of HTC's new release. I'm switching back to the previous TLR ROM. Is there a cab somewhere for the Comm Manager on this ROM? I would like to have that instead of the windows blue themed one.

Gradually adding packages in the first post, still the best ROM to use yet for me (aside from the HTC induced cleartype in landscape bug!)

I have to agree with TLR, this is the best ROM I have used on my kaiser!
It is so clean and free of crap, but still has pretty much everything you need in it or he has it in a seperate download cab! (Which I'm guessin he's uploading now as I was gettin errors at first lol, bit to quick me thinks!)
The cleartype bug is annoying, but it still looks great in landscape mode without it enabled so its not a huge problem and I can live with it!
Great work TLR!!!
Many thanks,
M_Taylor40

Can I just make a mildly off-topic point... his name is TheLoanRanger i.e. TLR not TotalRequestLive or TRL...
Thank you and good night... p.s I found this rom to be quite slugish, I've moved down to one of Dutty's now

Seeing a lot of screen tearing with this ROM that I didn't used to get.
Is this the 'video upgrade'?

A new version of the additions (grab via AppToDate) replaces the ugly 3G icon with the nicer one from the Touch Dual.
