I got my daughter a T SIM some time ago as she mainly texts (and not many of them) and they have a plan where texts are only 3p each which was the best deal at the time. She doesn't use enough to qualify for a £10/month top up bonus which I know some do, if you are topping up £10/month the Virgin 300mins and 300 texts seems the best deal.
