So the TouchPro is going to have video out, and HTC supplies a mini usb to RCA cable to connect to a TV.

Can a mini usb to 15 pin connector be used to connect to a projector?  Like this: http://www.shop.com/...M...94-p!.shtml This would be sweet for business to run a power point presentation from a phone. :D

This video out opens the mobile productivity doors.  You could use a bluetooth keyboard and BlueMouse. http://www.engadget....abric-keyboard/  Or even much cooler with the laser virtual keyboard like Celluon CL850. http://www.celluon.c...y1_2.htm?sm=2_1

The video out on the Touch Pro is via a proprietary cable and its composite only:

Then you can always plug in a Composite to VGA converter (such as this: http://www.amazon.co.../dp/B000NVSRXI) to run stuff straight from the device.

But most projectors have a composite input anyway so you're not really gaining anything (certainly not picture quality that's for sure) but converting it to VGA.

Also, I wonder how much using the TV-Out affects battery life.

Not all displays do, and, with a bluetooth keyboard/mouse, you could use the Raphael as a desktop replacement! No need for a Celio Redfly!

HTC have thoughtfully provided the Raphael with a program similar to the USB pop up on the Diamond for TV Out!

Thanks to the large (ish) battery in the Raphael, I doubt it'll to detrimental to usage times.

does the redfly send the display video over bluetooth to get the output on an external screen?
and if so does that mean they could release a redfly without build in screen/keyb/mouse so as to achieve a similar result but without limiting onesself to a 7inch display and non full size keyboard. as in hook it up to a crt/tft/projector of choice, surely that product would generate more interest!?!?!

It can link up via bluetooth, but also with USB which also charges the device.
