The new Android SDK recently released by Google shows quite a few notable changes to the OS

The UI has been changed to what hopefully will be a more intuitive touch friendly experience.

Engadget says the homescreen is now flickable, and there's a convenient tab to pull up the apps list.

Also a few really cool features including contact syncing (hopefully from outlook...since we're all used to it).

Overall, it looks like the UI is much faster, and cleaner looking, and at version 0.9 it doesn't seem this thing will be in beta much longer!

Head over to engadget for a video and full picture gallary!

What's the situation with Android, I know very little about it.

Is it actually running on any devices yet?

He who asks a question looks foolish for 5 minutes. He who doesn't ask a question remains foolish forever.

there are some builds that works on some HTC devices but not all functions work and its very buggy, to be used as a main OS.
