Guest pcbinternet
Bro you need to create the string and the Dword Next time search, I can see the exact same thread tittle on this page! I did search and i even quoted part of the previous thread but it did not say you had to create anything it said to change the setting. It is not advisable to start altering the registry with being sure what's gonna happen hence why i wanted confirmation Bro

I've done this in the past without any problems. Just restart the phone after you've done it. HTH gr

Guest Matt76
Hi, just a quick question. You are refering to thread messaging is this the same as the conversation messaging thing on the i900? As I would like to change this if possible to a more standard use of texts. If so can you please advise me how you can do it. Thanking you in advance Matt
Guest fisheradam
Use the .cab located in this thread http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-omnia-h...6/threaded-sms/ Works an absolute treat. If you just use the registry edit, you end up with no notification of messages, audio or otherwise but with Pauls (I assume custom) .cab you simply return to the old style of sms and keep all notifications. Guest fisheradam
And if you want to go back to threaded how? Gotta be honest, I don't know. I can't think of a reason why you shouldn't be able to change the registry back to it's original state if you don't like it.
Guest blackhorse
And if you want to go back to threaded how? Remove programs menu! :D Installing any Cab to a device is essentially a program to the phone, no matter what it does Edited August 29, 2008 by blackhorse
