The specs are pretty sound, particularly with Quad Band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and Tri Band HSDPA, and it's an interesting first foray into the market from a new player that has the backing of a very large OEM.

I'm interested to hear people's thoughts on the device, and also the pricing (here's the pre-order link at eXpansys [aff])... are VM set to become a real challenger to the Windows Mobile giants? How important are these other companies (alongside HTC) to Windows Mobile's growth? What do VM need to do differently to other VM OEMs to gain your respect? Discuss!

Always good to see a new device manufacturer to hopefully give HTC a run for it's money.
Servie department support will be one key feature especially selling without an operator contract.

Wonder if any networks will pick up the device? that may be the key to getting the device out there to the general public.

One piece of advice I could give them is....be innovative.

We don't need clones of current/previous HTC devices.
We dont need so-so specs that make you say BLAH!
We don't need a device without any customization (WM out of the box).

Make WM better. Make us want it. Make us need it.
At least give it your best shot....anything less, and what's the point!

Spot on there! Innovate don't imitate! Windows Mobile owners always want the latest technology and now! Stuff that certain other manufacturers add to their phones now and claim to be the first to do it, when windows mobile phones have done it for years.

Be interesting to see the interface they use on the phone.

the more I see this alternatives the more I think in WM world HTC is walking alone..

hi Everyone,                                                                                                                                                      
Some Configuration are good but Ram is sort, and Camera is also low pixel to sea the new tech.
Screen pixel are good but Sound quality to low.
If these quality are increased then I would buy it.
