Hi All,

Bit new to all this, so I apologise in advance.

I've managed to coonet my I900 using Wifi, however I just wondered if it was view the files on my PC (pictures, viedo word, excel files) on my I900 using this.
I searched through these forums and found that you might be able to connect to my PC using an app called Resco Explorer.
I have downloaded and installed the 7 day trial of this, this seems to find my PC, but then asked for a Username,Password and domain.
As far as I know I don't have one on my PC, so I'm a bit stuck????

Any help with this would be most welcome. Second if I get connected to my PC will this enable me to view video,word/excel files and listern to MP3s on my i900 from my PC?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Its nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

Normally speaking if you don't have a password setup, just click enter or OK, and it should work. At least it works in my case.

The other way around (so accessing your i900 from your PC) is not so straightforward I think... well maybe it is, but I don't know how it works. I think it could be with the "Connected Home" application, but no idea how that works.

Any expert can shed a light on this?

Thanks for the reply, however no joy. I tried pressing OK on the Username/Password screen, but it just says Login Failed and shows the screen again. For some reason it has Administrator in the username??? I have tried deleting this but the same happens (Login Failed), and the Administrator is back in the username field.

Think I need I bit more help on this one!!!

try logging in your pc with Administrator account, im sure you have setup a password for Administrator, maybe a long time ago and have forgotten about it.

and actually you can connect to LAN from omnia to PC without resco, with your built-in file explorer, select menu->Go To->Open Path->New Path, then on the text box type the usual path for network pc and shared folder. like "\\MYPCNAMEORIP\MYSHAREDFOLDER"

and oh, for some reason, xp has a habit of logging in on his own if you only have one USER declared and this user has no password, check you user control panel in your xp and find out what username you used, then enter that i the omnia, without password
