why must singapore? isn't there another SC nearer to your place?

you may try browsing into samsungmobile or samsung main page and search the nearest SC in Contact Us page.

good luck

Here is a link to find Service Centers In Canada based on the postal code: http://www.samsung.c...isp_nm=SGH-i616

I used the i616 as model to do the search, because the Omnia i900 is not sold in Canada.
Samsung will probably refuse to deal with your Omnia, or at best ship it to an overseas service center.
That is the luck of the draw when we choose to purchase a model not sold locally (I am also from Canada).

You could also try dealing with the Company that sold you the phone.

One problem with sending the phone off is that some companies just do a like for like swap.
Best to check what they do if you want to make sure you do not lose your photos.

Yes it should still be there but if they just give you a replacement phone then you will lose the photos.
Hopefully they will/can just reflash the phone for you.
