Dear,
I set a password for my imate sp3, but unfortunately I forgot it. When I connect the phone to PC via USB, the PC asks about the password. Also, when I try to use the phone it asks about the password.

Please I need your help. I need to only reset the password or remove it without loosing any contacts on the phone. Or, I need to extract first the contacts from the phone.

There is no easy way to recover your forgotten password, if there was then anybody could just unlock your phone and see what you have there.
Unfortunately you will have to try and remember what the password was otherwise the only option is to do a hard reset and wipe the phone.
