Hi all

this is a cracking forum,  ive just got my omnia from vodafone and have been reading a lot about firmware upgrades.  be useful if someone could point me in the right directions as to A) do i need to do one ;) if so which one ?

Also i hooked the phone upto my PC last night and downloaded 6 Music albums to it however when i go into the Touch Player and update library , it only sees 2 albums - ive checked in file explorer and all the albums are there so am i doing something wrong?

What's ur rom version currently? check in settings/system/version
however, if u're perfectly happy with the current rom, flashing is not needed anyway
about the music thingy, are u sure all the music files have readable(by touch player) format?

Touch player does not recognize wma music files. You option is either to rip the music in mp3 format or use other players such as pocketplayer.

The lack of WMA support in Touch Player is VERY annoying!

Indeed. Half of my music collections are in wma format. I am re-ripping them in mp3 as I type this. I hope Samsung adds support for this in the future roms, but I have my doubts as they may not wish to pay royalties to MS.
