I have 2 omnias. One I got to open and disassembly it, so that I can play a little bit with the parts. The problem is that I broke the so thin flex cable that connects to the on/off and reset button. So, I can't turn on the device.
My question is:
Is there any other way to turn on the device without pressing the on/off button or reset button?

and, if anyone here knows where I can get another flex cable for this phone (i searched everywhere and coundn't find it for sale).

Thank you!

For those who are waiting for my directions to make a split tv-out cable with charger (car or wall), I got it and it works
I'll post the directions on the apropriate post.

plugging the charger in sometimes wakes up the device.

cant you just find which wires went to the button and touch them together (somehow!) to simulate the button press. if it works this simply that is

unless you are a samsung dealer and got it for free! I would say you are one brave omnian  :D ! well if you bought both, maybe you could buy a third one and carry on with your tests, but now a little bit more careful...
