Is anyone able to change their WMP skin on the Omnia? I have the files in the WMP folder in Program Files but WMP doesnt find them. I am trying tu use this skin http://www.freewarep...oaded-skin.html

I tried this and followed the instructions and the player just says 'Searching for skins' and nothing else.

Not sure what else to do.

Just tried the same thing on my SPV and they all work fine.

where did u paste the files? care to share?

Pasted the whole folders as downloaded.

thats what i did, but it takes for ever searching the skins and nothing happend. how long did it take on urs?

Wasn't on the Omnia that does as you say just sits there searching and doesn't even say nothing found (it does say nothing found if you search with the directory empty) I tried it on my SPV to see if it was the Omnia giving problems and the SPV worked so there is something not right with the omnia.

Yes, it's because of the Omnia's screen resolution.

Read on XDA somewhere ( can't find the topic again:P) that you can open the .skn file to a .txt file and open it and change the resolution to fit the omnia, then save again as an .skn file and the Omnia should fine it this time around.

Just a black bar at the bottom cus there are no skins out there available for WMP omnia

Changed to the correct res of 400x240 and yes It does work but yes because the screen is an odd size the skin is not very good. Ho hum time to design one myself I think.
