hwo to add software to custom rom

hi, i build my own rom at the moment and i have all done til to install new software... i would ad some programms but dont know how.

plz help me with a simple answer

i dont make you concurence i just want to do my own rom!

Hello black-Dragon :lol:

to add applications (cabs) to your cooked ROM, you have to convert them to OEM packages, using MSCEInf by BenThon (French guy ;) ) and Ervius package creator. More (and much more :D ) infos could be found at XDA wiki. After converting them, put the folder inside your own OEM folder's rom, and when you'll reconstruct it, it'll be automaticly added to it :o

thank you verry much, i´ll try it imediatly. if i cant do it i come back ^^

ok i did some changes in my rom but nwo i want to add manila2d but it wont work... why? it dosn´t start...

ok i found it by myself...

for all who dont know:

first got for your cab file, than convert it to oem files and put the dir example netcf3.5 to the oem dir and thats it... now you could cook your rom =)
