Which Image viewer did u use? it looked a bit like S2V but yours worked with landscape.

Hey,

the image viewer is PocketCM ImageViewer... you can find it for free at www.pocketcm.com

Anyhow it is the best I have found until now compared to HTC Album and S2V, S2V does not support auto rotation and HTC Album I don't like the lines when you slide finger ...

Here is my theme for iFonz on the omnia. I use 56x56 icons so they are fairly large.Use if you like it. I can make custom icons if you need them, they only take a minute to make in this style.

hi how about the landscape background?

If you want lanscape background you have to change how many icons you want and maybe resize them that's why I didn't work on it because until now I have never used IFonz on Lanscape I do not like it so much. I have installed the autorotation to 0 for Ifonz...

If really you want one I could make it... so please let me know.

Installation

  1. Get Ifonz latest version
  2. Unzip the attached icon pack and copy both background.png and all icons to one folder on your storage/internal card...
  3. Use the attached background.jpg as a background in Ifonz settings
  4. Set Icon size in Ifonz settings to 64x64 and the number of icons per page to 9

I need help so i'm asking

  1. Get Ifonz latest version (version 1.1.2-QVGA is latest version ??)
  2. Unzip the attached icon pack and copy both background.png and all icons to one folder on your storage/internal card... (done that)
  3. Use the attached background.jpg as a background in Ifonz settings (done that)
  4. Set Icon size in Ifonz settings to 64x64 and the number of icons per page to 9 (I have done this, but how many pages do you think is good to start with ??)
  5. Set both top and bottom bar to transparent (still in Ifonz settings) (slider to far left or right ??)
  6. Go to edit for each bottom icon and put there the transparent icon which is by default in the gfx folder of Ifonz... (Can you provide the name of icons, as i couldn't find them ??)
  7. Go to edit for each icon of the page (except bottom) and choose your icon within attached pack
When i save the settings i just see the standard icons on the bottom, so assume the transparency is incorrect.

Also all the icons (9 on the page) seem to be bunched up together instead of laid neatly across the screen.

Sorry i haven't used ifonz much, but liked the video and would like to give this a go.

1- YES

4- 2 Pages to start is good : remember to put 9 icons per page

5- I think it is left but to make sure test it with the bottom one, the result should be that you do not see a white dotted background under your icons on the bottom but only bottom that you see when you open the background.png

6- blank.png

It is not about transparency of ifonz it is that you need to assign blank.png to each bottom icon. This is because you haven't done step 6 yet...

thanks anyway

btw whats that com. manager u used ??

It is the default one in M2D04 ROM which I have upgraded a month ago... it is Commmanager from the TouchFlo 2D but recolored for the theme I have... All was done already in the ROM.

I really advise thhis ROM as it is the best I had since I got my Omnia. Fast GPS, enough memory, quite fluent...

I have reflashed it couple days ago and it is now much faster than on Video...

Hi there,

It's just a really good work. Thank's a lot for.

But I've got a problem, i've not a transparency with the icons of programs (ie : not in the bottom bar).

There's always a white dotted background under the icons programs...under your icons in the pack.

Any idea ?

Thank's again for your work.

Ok I have been trying to get this running correctly but I am having a few problems.

The first thing is, when trying to put the icons of the new SMS and all that it doesn't show up correctly. The supposilby "bubble" is all distorted and looks nothing like the video. I need to have the black background come through if this is understandable. It shows as if it is a "negative" All I need to do is edit the icon and select the SMS icon from the Icon files that we put on the phone correct?

Second I got the "blank.png" files for the bottom bar. Right now it is set to Phone, Email, Internet and Music but I'd like to switch it to Phone, Email, SMS, and Contacts so it matches the pictures. My question is, what is the file path for the Email? The SMS and the Contacts when I go in to edit them? Where can I find them?

Thanks!

Salut!

Could you post a screenshot please? have you set background color to black in the settings? it should be by default...

The size of the icon must be 64x64 otherwise it will not work it it the case? can you send screenshot?

Second I got the "blank.png" files for the bottom bar. Right now it is set to Phone, Email, Internet and Music but I'd like to switch it to Phone, Email, SMS, and Contacts so it matches the pictures. My question is, what is the file path for the Email? The SMS and the Contacts when I go in to edit them? Where can I find them?

for email you can use \Windows\tmail.exe which is the default one (you can just write down the default ones where you find them by editing the original icon for email... same of sms and contacts... and just put the values of the paths in the bottom in the right order...

It also depends what application you want to launch for example I have setup to launch iContact.exe for the contacts and SilverInbox.exe for the SMS

Definiately not 10% safe but if you follow well instructions you shouldn't have any problems... My Omnia is much more relyable after flash compared to when I bought it... Specially GPS position speed and more...
