First of all i want to congratulate the great creator of this forum and te hole homepage it´s just awesome.
I´m from Argentina and i adquired a blackjack II (i617) smartphone. When i bought it has the WM 6 and I wanted to upgrade it to the 6.1 ROM but keep having s/w message error so I begun messing arround with nhathoa kitchen but I haven´t any idea of how to do that so I blow it. Then I installed the AT&T original ROM and make some changes to erase the programs and change the windows startup/shutdown animation.

Now What i´m trying to do is to fix my keyboard drivers because here in argentina in order of having the CV hotkey we have the "ñ" key. And I dont know how to remap it, after a lot (days and days) of research I found out that the cv key could be remapped but only to open a program. Can it be remapped to a symbol?.

Nevertheless my brother has te same phone but it has the 6.1 WM original from the phone company. I have been messing with the registry and found out that the driver for the hard key are in the Keypad.dll I did not succed on coping it (I just want to take it from my brother´s phone and paste it on mine!) or modifying it Can anyone help me to do this or does anyone has the driver for the spanish keyboard?.

Hope you can understand my poor english. Any healp would be kindly apreciated. Thanks in advance

I found the keypad.dll but i don´t know how to read it i´m trying to figure it out. Can anyone more in the subject help me to edit the cv hardbutton configuration??

Don't think to edit keypad.dll (It's is a library file). I did try with HEX editor, and change some key, but keypad.dll will be brick after edit.


Let you try to aks any programer to generate other keypad.dll.

Thanks for replaying nhathoa i´m trying to work this out but my knowledge on the subject is limited. Yesterday i ask my brother to lend me the fone for a few hours and i realized that the key only functioned on a word processor or SMS. It occurs to me that it´s not the driver it might be the ET9 configuration. I have been messing with it and have no luck. What´s more i did not disable the CV button i just "broke the link" i went to cellularvideo.INK and modify the text "95#"\Windows\CellularVideo.exee?:Active_Icon\CellularVideo" so i think it can be blocking it out!!

any thougth??

Does anyone know if the CV and IE keys could be mannaged from the registry??? if so wich is the path to them??? seems i can´t find the path to edit / modify

How can i get the keypad.dll ? i extra the rom ,but i get the same-name-fold .
