Hi guys,

I have previously successfully upgraded an Orange branded Omnia to MSHJ1 (To get rid of the GPS lock...)

I was going to upgrade to DXIA5, however I was wondering if anyone knows when the UK version of this will be released or can take an educated guess???
If its only round the corner then i'll wait.

Wont be for a very long time i think, the last update was HJ2 or something for Voda & Orange users. The next one you will get will probably be HK3, the IA5. Or they might go straight to IA5.

I am a voda customer, but got rid of my firmware after 2 weeks of putting up with a crap phone..

I originally upgraded from BVVH1 or whatever it was called (Orange UK ROM) to MSHJ1

I have now tried to upgrade to DXIA5 from MSHJ1 and got the 'incorrect software version' message.
I have read through the posts and did the proconfigure thing changing the region to Singapore etc.

I still had the message so then changed the registry to DXIA4 and tried DXIA2, DXHJ1 (assuming these were lesser versions).

I still had the message so I tried to to edit the DXIA5 exe using the instructions on this site and changed it to 'MS' region.

Please can someone check what I have done and try and identify the faults?
I dont know if what I have done is correct, but I assume i'm obviously not doing it correctly somewhere as it not worked since upgrading to MSHJ1.

Please help as i'm pulling my hair out over this...
