Tried to search this forum for my answer but didnt find it.

I wanted to install DXIA5 rom, but don't know what i have to do,
my firmware is:
pda; i900xkhh8/xkhh4
telefoon; i900xxhh9

looked at the dutch samsung site to download a firmware update. The download wizard asked what firmware i had, so i confirmed xkhh4, when i start the download, he is starting a XKHJ3 download, not the one i wanted though:P Do i have to download other firmwares first to update it to DXIA5? or what?

I ran the i900DXIA5_updater_xp.exe but he is saying; Bad software version, check the device

if i unlock my phone first, will running the official dxia5 updater work?

I think the DXIA5 firmware is only available for the singapore or phillipines (correct me if im wrong)
To use it you need to change the config of the phone. Do a search for "incorrect software version" and take it from there.

Look for a topic called "Samsung i900 - OMNIA ***** CUSTOM ROM ***** 27.02.2009." This will tell you all about flashing safely to DXIA5.
