I have repacked TCPMP FOR OMNIA!!
this is based on tcpmp 5500 with have ALSO H264 SUPPORT!
I replaced common.dll with common.dll from tcpmp 0.72 rc1 rebluild3 version, to delete inizial spatch message screen of 5500 version
Replaced ffmpeg.plg with more updated ffmpeg.plg that no have bug of full screen between FLV and INTEL XSCALE (5500 version has this bug!)
Set registry value to set tcmp as default player of severs video format!
Set registry value to set tcpmp in optimal mode for samsung omnia (Intel Xscale video accelration, full screen zoom etc etc)
Set registry value to have compatibility with common.dll taken from  tcpmp 0.72 rc1 rebuild3
You must only install and use!

TCPMP IS UNIQUE PLAYER THAT SUPPORTS AC3!!

I`m going to test it ASAP, because the one I have now doesn`t support FLV Thanks man... I just have a question - did you include the subtittle plugin?

I still wouldn't call this the perfect solution since you removed support for flv4 by replacing the ffmpeg.plg that came in the original GF5500 with the one from the tcpmpflvplugin hosted at sourceforge... You can argue that the flv4 support isn't perfect but still is a great achievement. The plugin on which flv4 support in the GF5500 was based in an flv4 plugin (that has been updated) and is now somewhat faster than the one that comes in GF5500 (especially the iwmmxt_m32ce version... and strangelly it behaves even better in benchmark). You need however to change some registry keys (check my attached MortScript as an example). I does however add 1.5 MB to TCPMP...

My previous setup kept the original ffmpeg.plg under a different name (so you can have both plugins). I know that doing so had the inconvenience that every time you played an flv4 file the files associated with the other ffmpeg.plg (the one from the plugin at SourceForge) will become associated with this one but that was somewhat solved with my MortScript.

The perfect solution would be a merge of tcpmpflvplugin and ffvp6/flv4 plugin since they are basicly different builds of ffmpeg (would reduce the added size for flv4 support... especially if it didn't need the two cegcc dlls). I contacted the author over at SourceForge but got a "I'll look into this in the future" as an answer some months ago... I fear it was forgotten. Anyone up for this?

PS: WMA and WMV dlls aren't needed in new devices (TCPMP GF5500 uses the ones from Windows Media Player that already come in ROM).

flv asap is problematic
also if you use TCPMP 5500 version that has this support, flv4 video will play at 1 fps
no subtitles plugin..if you send me some links..have you test this plugins in wm 6.1?

Try the second link in my previous post (the one that says flv4 plugin). You will need to edit my attached MortScript to meet your system file paths. And try a local flv4 with video at "Intel Xscale Low Quality" + disabled "Dither" + disabled "Smooth Zoom". Benchmark behaves better. Files with big resolution will be too slugish though...

About the subtitles there is this one plugin (also hosted at SourceForge) but it only works in GDI video mode. Aready asked for Intel Xscale video mode support but still got no answer (the forum seems abandoned... maybe I should have emailed the author with this...). Installing that plugin also removes the startup message from the GF5500

maybe it's possibile include this in mortscript..when video is flv4(some registry values will show this information) change

No Intel Xscale NO pARTY ..i don't want include this plugin with this condition

Don't know how to do that using MortScript... And current TCPMP doesn't allow custom profiles for each file type...

About the subtitles that's the only solution I know of. Works fine if videos aren't that heavy (since GDI performance is well bellow Xscale in the Omnia). It's great if you really need subtitles. Don't know how hard it would be to add Xscale support (since I'm not a coder) but that would sure be great.

If I understand one thing, maybe I will integrate flv4 support
only 1 thing: with that low quality settings, works fine for example flv4  Tube8 vidoes (from web video downloder)?

sounds good, don't do much video on this thing but i'll give it a try, i was rather impressed with playback using the repack 3 of .72 with a sdtv size video.

frmmariam some questions:
tube8 flv4 videos works fine with low settings?
if you use subtitles plugin and gdi video mode, what must you do to insert this subtitles?I don't know, rename subtitles with the same name of video files?
what action do you do to recognize this subtitles?

for all: I NEED TO know  registry key that contains path  when you click a file. For example if you click with your file explorer on video.mp4, this value(for example \My Storage\video.mp4) will be stored in some part in windows registry and passed after to player
this is important for me..I want create a tcpmp omnia version with flv4 and subtitles support..I will use mortscript, but it will be trasparent for users..no problem of dynamic installation path

another thing frmariam:
how can you understand if a file is norma flv or flv4?
for me is important understand this before, because when I click on file I want change settings in automatic

to include subtitles and flv4 support for me is important understand:
1-how works subtitiles plugin (what do you do manually to watch film with subtitles?)
2-understand where take video path(when I click on video file I want to know path of video to pass this to Run function in mortscript)
3-when I click on file I must understand if it is a flv4 file(and in this manner change settings..when close application return default settings) or all the others (default settings)

If I will have this information, will be easy for me create a cab that include a good  flv4 support and subtitiles, thanks to use of mortscript (but this will be trasparent for user)
I don't have Omnia in this moment

1- Subtitles will be automatically loaded if they have the same name as the video file. Alternatively you can browse and choose the right file.

2 & 3- Don't have a clue... but as I said the right way to do this is to code it, not hack it... in this case something like specific profiles for each media type (if you choose not to use the default) that TCPMP automatically applies (but seeing how the GF5500 source was never released I seriouly don't see it happening with this build... unless someone does this as a plugin).

Another thing: with low quality settiungs works fine for example tube8 flv4 videos(from web video downloader),that have 640x480 resolution

another thing:
subtitles plugin has 4 files
ati3200.plg, intel2700g.plg,interface.plg and common.dll
sorry, but using intel2700.plg doesn't work intel acceleration?

do you copy all these file in tcpmp folder to get subtitles function, or only common.dll?
