I just found this new browser called Iris, its real slick pretty quick and renders websites great.   Its based on webkit which is the same thing that the idiotphone and google chrome use.  Or and its free.  You should all try it.

I'm checking this out now and its not too bad. I love that it has tabs, which is a HUGE plus.
The pages load pretty quick, but it has a bit of trouble on some of my local html files, which is
probably my poor html..

all I have to say is http://www.skyfire.com/ and you will drop any and all Web mobile browsers for life.

do not take my word for it, try it out yourself. it is fully functional and free. acts EXACTLY (to an extent a mobile can) like your PC firefox browser

Skyfire is a very good browser but the beta versions (0.8 and 0.9) would drain my batter very quickly.
I'd be on battery full and then after 20minutes I'd lose 1/2 the battery and the phone would get very warm.
I just downloaded version 1.0 this morning and will try it out.

Unless they have resolved the battery-drain issue I will continue to use Internet Explorer and browse only moblile
web sites. Actually, the mobile sites load up automatically for most of the commononly accessed sites (cnn, espn, cnbc, drudgereport,
etc).
