I need some help. I buy a Blackjack II and use WM 6, i want upgrade to 6.1. BUT i have mi blackjack II unlocked to use with any gsm carrier. If i upgrade, will be locked again? or there is a firmware  that is unlocked to any gsm carrier? please help me.

I download 2 ROms from here, the roms are: [SamSung+i617]+only+OS+clean+ship+Rom and WM6.1[BlackJack+II]Only+OS+Ship+Rom.
What is the best?
I wiil upgrade only if the phone dont get blocked.
Haaa... and nobody has made a personalize Rom?

the clean ship rom is a custom made rom without att bloatware. i wouldnt trust it. use the official rom from samsung. im pretty sure it will remain unlocked, call att and ask them, they would probably know best.

I wrote to samsung. They tell tha once a device is unlocked, doing an upgrade to WM 6.1 will not lock the device again. Then, if samsung say, if true then right? I can believe them i think.

Hey I did the upgrade!! everything fine! i tried the 2 roms. the clean rom was excellent buti need the spanish languaje. So i use the Original Rom. Thank you for your help Nottach.

Hola creo que eres latino .. quiero hacerle un upgrade a esta blackjack pero quisiera saber como lo hiciste..  y si esta rom queda en español ..
