Hi theres a new HTC touch HD with windows mobile 6.5 running straight from the box, with the new htc touch flow 3D. The good thing is that you can switch off the touch flow 3D and just run windows 6.5 which itself is quite good check it out

There isnt a "new" HD with 6.5. There is a company taht is selling the HD with a custom 6.5 ROM installed on it. Which is quite probably illegal since 6.5 isn't released yet. Microsoft might turn a blind eye to end users getting hold of beta releases of 6.5 and flashing their own phones with it, but they probably would take a different view of a company adding it as a feature to sell phones.

HTC have just categorically confirmed to me that there will be no 6.5 release for the Touch HD, which is a pain as there is an issue with 6.1 and static IP addresses which is resolved in 6.5!
