the issue is in releasing these now is that as soon as windows mobile 7 is released it will be old tech straight away.

I can't see samsung offering decent support on these either if their support portal with the i900 is anything to go by.

I'm waiting for the Winmo 7 devices to come out, until then I think i'll be looking to a touch HD as I don't want to wrap myself up in a contract with a phone which won't be supporting a WM7 rom with 7 on the horizon

Clearly the new Omnia II is an incredible piece of technology.  I am very anxious to see and touch this new huge screen and to see how it works under varying lighting conditions.  The technical specs are off the charts good, so I am excited to check this out in person.  Based on the screen size this is going to make media apps really good, but I wonder about battery life.
