Doesn`t work
Shokka, bro I`m using your 6.1 LITE ROM and I installed, enabled, soft reseted - the phone hung. Again soft-reset - again hung. And so on about 2-3 times
I have same thing...it worked for me all day yesterday, then today it started having issues.
The registry must need a tweak for it to work properly.
PM khuanchai and ask him
I just come back to see if anyone else has issues, it appears so. No mind....

Im using Khuanchai rom and this is how its working for me.When u boot the phone by default wow is enable but the preset (headphone or internal) is empty. So i like the headphone preset alot so i choose it to listen music. When im finished with the music i must go to wow settings and disable it.After that the phone never hangs again.Ive tested this night and it works.
This is a major step forward because in the other version we had to change power profile so the phone would never go to sleep. With this version the phone can go to sleep saving battery and because im only using this to listen music i dont care to do some extra clicks to make it work. Thanks

Does it re-enable on soft reset?
That would get old, fast.

yeah bro....
...it does...it did with me anyways...
I have uninstalled it due to having to soft reset 3 times in 10 minutes this morning. Strange as it worked perfectly yesterday with no hangups.
I also noticed a slight distortion in my music that has never been there before. Last time i had this distortion it was on a really old ROM before my customs ROM use and cooking.
Strange. Really liked it too, made the music better to listen to in my SkullCandy Hesh's. Need the BASS!!!!!

Hey shokka
I wonder if the built in r2vs driver (why didnt Samsung give us a control panel too) has any cause to any of this?

i use omnia as an mp3 player for my car which has a 6 speaker setup, now the question is wouldnt installing these drivers make the music worse as i think they're more for a headphones setup?

you can't get it crappier than it is without it that's for shure
i tried on my 1400w homemade setup and it plays excelent (brings up the bass&mid) but it cannot compare to 5.1 dts...
go for it and hope it doesn't freeze xD
Is there an officer, problem? :D

Interesting... this looks similar to other attempts to manage power states with the driver that we tried a few weeks ago. How? By removing the SRS driver as the "Output Device" for builtin WAV, my speculation is that this takes it out of the driver tables for the builtin speaker, so unless you have a headset attached, or an active A2DP connection, the speaker is the current sound path and SRS never gets called during sleep or wakeup.
All speculative musings, mind you.
I haven't tried this yet, but I'm curious: Do you guys still get sound from the speaker? Seems to me that it would break that.
Anyway, so far the only reliable way I have found to suspend my phone with this driver installed is by disabling all automatic sleep paths (in my case, the Power settings autosleeps, and S2U2 autosleep), then suspending the phone only with the power button while the SRS control panel is displayed.
I have not had a single hang this way. With SPB MS3, I can put a shortcut button to the SRS/WOW panel on the home screen, which makes it a very easy two-press process to suspend my phone. This is easy enough that I'm able to keep this incredible enhancement on the phone, and enjoy greatly enhanced sound.
HOWEVER: The claim elsewhere in this thread about no-hang with SRS disabled is intriguing. So, I'm experimenting today with it disabled, and all the autosleep mechanisms re-enabled. I'll post back tomorrow with 24-hour results. If this is all it takes to make this thing compatible with the Omnia, that's a no-brainer... there's no point in SRS with the internal speaker anyway.
All speculative musings, mind you.

The cab file that I have made does not required you to change anything at all to make it work, just install it and use your phone as the way you want.

Try install R2VS first -> soft reset -> enable R2VS -> install SRS cab -> soft reset -> enable SRS
