OMNIA I900 sudden shut down when WIFI is on

hay,
when i use my phone and the WIFI is off every thing is OK.
when i switch on the WIFI i can connect to all networks and surf without a problem.
BUT if i turn the WIFI on and wait until the omnia turn to sleep mode ( shuts down the screen ) it freezes.
what freezes mean ?
the phone cant recive calls and no matther what i do i cant turn on the screen if i tray to press the power buttom nothing happens.
the only way to wake it is to press the reset bottom.
any idea whay this happends ?
version info:

PDA: i900dxia5/dzia5
PHONE: i900dxia2

i hope that any one have an idea :D

Honestly, I've no clue. I would try flashing to another ROM and see if it keeps happening. If it does, maybe it's defective?

Hi,

I used to have this exact same problem (and I THINK I was using the same firmware as you, but not 100% sure).

It was fixed when I flashed to a newer firmware, I flashed to a custom rom off of these forums. It was an old one so Im sure there are newer and better ones out at the moment but they should still fix it.
