Guest CybaCowboy
So I just bought "SmartGear" by BitBankSoftware and for the most part, it's not too bad (considering my licence is applicable across all supported operating systems includes unlimited updates and upgrades, it's certainly worth the $US10 I paid)... Anyway, I'm trying to play the Pokémon series of games (as originally available for the Nintendo Game Boy and Game Boy Color), but I'm finding that the "auto save" feature doesn't appear to be working, thus returning me to the begining of a game everytime load it (particularly if I haven't used SmartGear for an hour or more)! If I play a game, exit SmartGear and then reload the game in SmartGear immediately, it picks-up where I left off, but if I exit SmartGear for a period of time (eg. an hour or more), the game is usually reset! Am I doing something wrong, and is there a way to MANUALLY save/load games?

Guest ScreamingFalcon
there are only so many settings in smartgear. youre telling me you dont see the quick load/save settings? please try just a bit harder. :) He has the quick load/save turned on, he just wants to know how to manually do so. You need to pause the emu and the save/load feature is in the emu menus. Another way is to quit the game before closing SmartGear. Yeah, I e-mailed the developer and he gave me the link for a beta version of SmartGear, which makes a number of changes, including to the saving and loading functionality... Now I just have to hit the keys I've specified and it loads or saves my game.
