Okay so I hear you all saying that there are plenty of apps out there which get your location using your GPS receiver and let you send that location to others. Well this app has taken this idea, and added a small but important feature.

So let me walk you through this. You run the app, it locates you via your GPS receiver. You then have some options, you can send the location via SMS, Email, add it to a note or into the devices clipboard.

The difference is that it is not simply the GPS Co-ordinates. GPS Location gives you a google maps link, so whoever receives it can quickly get your actual location, rather than just your co-ordinates.

Try it out. The app is in early development, so worth keeping an eye on.

Has anyone else taken a look at this?

I tried!

It was incredibly complicated. The tracking display on the website looks like the controls of the space shuttle.

Sorry :D
