Hi Lioryte! Don't be so hard on yourself... I think we all realize the risks from living on the bleeding edge. I appreciate all your work and I look forward to a new version when you have the time. In the meantime, I went back to your 23551. Never had a problem with that one, even when it's on top of DF14.

speaking of titanium.... ive got what is probably a stupid question. since ive been reading the forum i havent found a definite answer. what exactly is titanium? and sense? are they UIs? a shell? and are ui and shell the same thing? ive figured out i like spb mobile shell, and i couldnt really get used to  M2D and touch flo which are  UI and also one and the same. that took me forever to figure out. im guessing titanium is the stock 6.5 ui? could i get someone to do a quick post describing the difference if any between shel and ui and shells along with the different ones that can be used with i910. i dont think there are that many but could be wrong. thanks in advance.

so what was the recent best to have working mms? 23551? i hadnt even realized my mms wasnt working with 23134. did anyone ever figure out a way to use the overclocking? does anyone know where the in call recorded files are saved? i cant seem to find anything but the record button and stop recording lol.

sorry for so many questions but i saved the best for last. HOW DO I SHOW MY APPRECIATION TO YOU GUYS? HOWS THIS DRINK THING WORK?

I have been using 23135 and it has steadily become more unstable.  The touchscreen gets more and more off every day.  Very frustrating.  If I go to "Align Screen" to try and fix it, I just get stuck in an endless loop.  Doesn't seem to ever get any better.  I am waiting for the next stable rom so that I can flash again and hopefully fix this stuff.  Battery use seems to be a little higher also.

Yes Titanium is the default UI of WM 6.5. M2D is an older HTC's UI/shell (sense is the most recent), same as SPB and the rest. I made my ROMs base meaning no UI/ Shell/ Theme. Reason is that you could be using any shell but you will end up going back to WinMo. And with WM 6.5.X WinMo biggest issue (finger friendliness) was fixed and so I didn't see any need to have any shell/ skin taking away any memory. More on this subject-

Overclocking isn't working so far, (there is a forum search button this will make it easier for you to find out about anything faster) but I'm still working on it. Yea 23135 memory management hasn't been that great. Might be the kitchen/ might be the build/ might be me. I'm working on getting my older kitchen's resources together so when my computer is up and running I'll be able to do something ASAP I really feel bad about this. I'm using my kids netbook this piece of crap won't do for cooking

Yes, netbooks are good for a few certain things, and cookin' ain't one of them!  Surfing porn is taxing for a netbook (not that I would know, nor advocate that on your kids' netbook!)...  You making progress on the new HD/computer/kitchen?  My phone is getting so sloppy that I don't even want to use it much.  I've resorted to having to use the optical mouse to type most of the time since the angle is off so much from the touchscreen!  Laborious at best...

i seem to be struggling with an allignment issue also with 23134. although mine fixes for a day or so and then have to reallign. regarding the battery drain, mine is still way better than stock. it used to last for 3hrs of heavy use now is lasting closer to 5hr continuous.

and lioryte thanks for the link. i tried several searches here but couldnt find anything with the simple answers. most was unrelated. i search titanium and get threads like this because we were just discussing the issue whn installed or i get 20 roms with titanium but had hard time finding what it is. i thought it that kind of info would have been  stickied in a noob area on one of the forums. could be a good idea for someone with extra time lol your overworked already. thats why the guiness fairy will be arriving shortly i dont know if this is considered personal but how much is the typical donation? i dont wanna seem like an ungrateful cheapskate

Not really a stupid question, really.  I was not entirely clear on these issues until clicking on Lioryte's links that he sent you actually.  The second one there went to a post by Sector that actually has a lot of good information about what Titanium is, how to modify it, and several different cabs if you want a customized version.  Try that link again (Sector's Titanium Link).  

Basicly (as I understand it) titanium is the name of the "format" of the display when you flash one of Lioryte's roms (like 23135).  I also use SPB Mobile Shell, so these things don't really matter as much to me.  I never really see it.  My main concerns are speed, stability, and battery life.

I have tried to align the screen, but I always seem to get in an apparently endless loop and it never wants to complete.  I have decided that I can sometimes use it as is, but most of the time the optical mouse is faster...

  I am loving the ROM, I tried the Touch Flow add on that you posted to it, installing it as a CAB.  I have decided not to use it in favor of SPB.  I can't seem to uninstall Touch Flow now.  Any pointers on how I can uninstall it?

Titanium is a MS finger friendly "skin" for the home screen. I used to run SPB's MS but decided against it I get a lot of info with the panels.
Sorry about the issues, i'll be reverting back to an older kitchen and this should fix some issues.

Make sure the phone is plugged in, grab a beer, hit uninstall and WAIT. This can take a while, might wanna grab 2 beers

Thank YOU!  I have been waiting for you to get another rom up (specifically a WMD version) for days!  Can't STAND 23135 any more.  I assume that you have gotten your HD up and running again, and have a new rebuilt kitchen?  I am downloading 28240 right now, and hope to flash to it tomorrow (if I'm lucky).  Does this one appear as fast as previous WMD roms to you?

Also, it may be my browser, but the image for the download of 28240 on the first post seems to WANT to switch to the next picture but gets stuck and never progresses.  Just FYI.  It downloads fine, though.  THANKS!

28240 is good. All 100% except the MMS thing which I don't get. I'll tr y to see what's the cause of it not sure as to why it's not working.

WMD is a great build, been running it for 2 days now no issues... (I think since My omnia is really, really broken up I'm just waiting for wp7 to come out so I can compare phones I like the UI but not the "iphone" system tyranny which comes along. If VZ won't get them soon I'll have to switch as my phone is in a really, really bad condition- broken and beaten - so in  between the lines it means I'll be switching phones REALLY soon. Need 100% functional for my business)

Don't expect to see any W7 phones any time soon. Apparently VZW has said it will not have any handsets with the new OS until after the start of the New Year.

What little chance there was that I would update to a W7 phone pretty much disappeared a few days ago when MSFT sued Motorola over patent infringement on email, contacts and calendar synchronisation in a veiled sideswipe at Android. Funny how they didn't sue Apple, even though they have those features in IOS4, eh?

Yea...I know about VZ+WP7:( I just hope the phone makes it so I get to choose. Doesn't look good right now everything is broken I hope it'll last to the holidays but might go with the droid pro/ evo. Battery connectors are bad, screen is bad, GPS has always been horrible...

I installed the 28240 ROM and added SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.3.  So far, I'm loving it.
