Hi Paul or anyone else,

Installed and updated from 2.2e to 2.3e and now my Hero won't boot!

At first it basically hung on the HERO screen. So I did a Factory Reset from the Recovery module. Now the phone is stuck in a complete loop!!!!

It just boots passed the Hero screen, does the green android things waving and then just loops round and round and fails to boot in to the ROM!

Any ideas peeps? I will try and recover from back up, I have also tried to re load 2.3 but makes no difference

Much help needed asap!

The only time I've had something like this is when I partitioned by SD card, but didn't have it done properly...

Did you have it partitioned at the same time as your upgrade?

I do have it partitions as per apps2sd, maybe I should format and try again?

Ive sorted it!

I was just trying to install the enhanced update only, not the core, then enhanced back on top. Got a nice fresh install of 2.3 on again now! LOL!

Just take off your SD card and boot your phone. It will boot OK.

Then, reformat your card...
