I have two questions about the new people widget -

1) How do I press a contact and bring up their contact card rather than doing the default action

2) Failing that, how do I change the default action?

Tap their name.

Oh, in case you still want to know - go to the favourites list and long press the person whose default action you would like to change.

I don't like the new People widget. The old narrow People widget had room for 4 people on screen - the new one only 3, the names below the pictures can be hard to click (to go to contact info) - it is very easy to accidentally start executing the default action.

And now I just found out that you cannot see the name of the third contact in the people widget... so you have to scroll down if you want to access the third contact's info. Why oh why didn't they scale the pictures so that three accounts could be on screen fully ?

PLUS if you have three or more persons in your favorites - the name of the last person cannot be scrolled completely into view - making it even harder to click that contact's name :)

I tried that but I only get the option to delete the whole widget. I have tried many ways but can not seem to adjust the default action in the favorites list ;)

I emailed HTC but they gave me some random answer that made no sense.

Any one else got any ideas? :huh:
