With just over a week to go before the official Windows Mobile 6.5 launch, the HTC Touch2 has made a few appearances in the UK!

To jog your memory, The Touch2 comes equipped with Windows Mobile 6.5 as well as TouchFlo (looking a lot more like HTC Sense this time) and has a 3.2 megapixel camera, 2.8" QVGA screen, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and microSD expansion.

Firstly, there are some unboxing pics courtesy of ElectricPig, and you should be able to can see an unboxing video on Coolsmartphone really soon here, with a review to follow in a few days.

I wonder if it will run quicker than the Diamond given similar spec hardware, but only a QVGA screen.Was never convinced that the VGA screen was any benefit on the Diamond (perhaps for viewing images or video, but not too sure about that either)

To be honest, one of the main reasons I got the diamond was for the amazing pixel density...I thought it would make videos look amazing. IN the end, I never found a way of playing 640x480 videos that wasn't either choppy (h264 etc) or had absolutely huge file sizes (MPEG2), even with CorePlayer.
