Guest David Strange
The new build of Opera Mobile 9.7 reported here works a treat on the TG01. OK, it doesn't use the hardware zoom bar on it, but there is a zoom button in the browser. I'd suggest making the registry change mentioned in that post (changing default zoom to 100). If you read the links in the xda forum (which that post links to) you can also install a fully working version of Flash on it. Do I prefer it to Netfront? Time will tell... Cheers, David. Hello, I have installed this program (http://www.mediafire.com/?ffjdzzazizj) but doesn't work in my TG01, what version are you using? cheers, Hlov
Guest David Strange
I'm using build 35432, I'm very pleased with it. After last night's exhaustive fiddling I have dumped OM9.5 and made this build my default browser (rather than NetFront). You could try downloading from here. Hope it works for you, David. Guest David Strange
Which device did you set it as? I installed it but bbC Iplayer atstill won't work I set the device to be an Xperia. I've just checked and I cannot get iPlayer working either. Doesn't bother me so much as I use MyPlayer for watching live television. YouTube works a treat, though. Cheers, David. Guest die_Leuchte
Hi guys, thanks for this fantastic release. I only found one annoying issue, maybe you have an idea to solve it. On some pages it is not possible to klick on links with the release. Maybe this has something to do with the text format fixer?

On some pages it is not possible to klick on links with the release. Maybe this has something to do with the text format fixer? I set device to be a Diamond-2 and it works as well. Regarding your issue, I had the same problem and it was that "Text Selection" was "On" Cheers!
Guest die_Leuchte
Hi xdalover, thanks for your answer. I looked after the text selection but it is off, so it must be something else.
Guest thebigshazbowski
Tried it - better than PIE 6 by miles but Skyfire is still soooo much better. youtube/iplayer and every other flash or video site galore and all in 4.1 inches of full screen goodness.... I Agree regarding Skyfire as Flash videos player (I's amazing, it opens all them!) but Skyfire has the drawback that works in a kind of "low" resolution, specially in text, and it's a pity, because without this issue it would be perfect! Guest die_Leuchte
I don't like the flash capabilites of skyfire at all cause the video quality is so bad. And I agree wit xdalover concering the drawback quallity which is as well inaccaptable low.
Guest David Strange
The text rendering in Skyfire v1.0x was so dreadful I cannot be bothered to try the latest version. Moreover, the quality of Flash videos it shows is just rubbish. If you are unhappy with Flash in OM9.7 you could always try downloading the Google YouTube application. Cheers, David. Guest David Strange
The new version of FixOperaFlash (v1.5.1.0), reported here, will let you select a TG01 as a specific device rather than having to chose some other type of phone. I installed it (the simple guide how to do this is here) but haven't really noticed much difference. Youtube still works and iPlayer doesn't. Cheers, David. Guest bingm
holy crap, just upgraded my opera install to 9.7 35461, it's now lightning fast and flash seems to work without installing flashfix. also fiddled with the enable openGLES registry key but that slowed it down rather a lot (it did add some nice animations to the url and menu bar tho) seems to be crashing less than the previous version i had too (35452 or something) Edited October 26, 2009 by bingm

Guest dunbad
blimey, 35461, This is a great version. The best browser I've used, and I've used 9.5, 9.7, netfront, iris, bolt, skyfire, dorothy. But this version I've used for the past few days and its great. Smooth scrollng with total control. Fast. Great layout. strongly recommend. I've found it to be not without bugs, and have had to come out of opera a few times (oddly enough it crashed a few times when I first installed it, and thought it was not that good). But it seems to have settled almost totally now.
Guest dunbad
Further to the above, I havent got the flash installed as yet (ive yet to look into how to do it), but im still on 6.1 and flash videos are not working on my device. That said this version is head and shoulders above anything I've tried. Also as someone suggested above, I put myplayer on here which works well for bbciplayer but the picture quality I find pretty poor even on wifi.
