I really hate some samsung apps / settings so I have changed some settings to normal settings:

To easly import all settings:
- install ceregeditor on XP / Vista / Win7 ( fast Edit winmo registry from desktop )
- connect device activesync
- Open cergeeditor, tools -> unlock registry
- edit -> import from file and select the saved file you saved below:
Save as *.cereg :

Still searching:
- How to: Phone dialer ? : set default view to call history instead of call history and contacts. ( so when you tab the person, you get call history and NOT person details )
- How to: Phone dialer ? : enable the skin from samsung 6.1; when someone calls, you could reject & send sms.
- How to: Messaging : get rid of the giant - and + icon in messages / email folder selection .
- How to: Messaging : have horizontal lines between 2 sms conversations like in: this image
- How to: Messaging : remove the 'older' - 'newer' titles in a conversation and just list all messages.
- How to: Messaging : fix green delivery icon, it is blocky, not even anti-alias.
- How to: Start Menu : easily reorder the items.
- How to: FIX slow response time of the unlock button, on wm6.1 it worked great.
- How to: FIX slow 'double click', on 6.1 it was much faster ( tab and hold until right mouse click )

- How to default select windows keyboard instead of Samsung touch keyboard ?

Most of those issues are discussed and fixed in Omnia 2(I8000) forum. There is a sticky thread called "tweaks....." or similar. In the first post you will find the answers....

HELP!!!

Anyone know how to disable the phone from waking up on receipt of new SMS?
I tried the tweak used for HTC devices, i.e. to add registry key:
HKLM\Drivers\Builtin\RIL\DisableSMSWakeUpEvent = 1 but this doesn't work on Omnia Pro.

Any other suggestions???

I tried the following on 6.1

Now i can't open my sms or reply to them.
I'm happy that I know the original was "mms.dll"

Thnx for these tweaks. Tried the ones for Threaded SMS and disabling the Samsung sms app and they both worked great!

Trying to get rid of as much Samsung stuff as possible

okay thats weird.. i got today my B7610 and tried to apply the reg code..
after i turned it down.. i cant seem to get the loader back.. even softresetting doesnt work..

whats wrong with it? pls help

what loader? I don't understand what you mean with 'loader'.

meanwhile, his loader problem is fixed. nothing to do with the regs.

Ok i have a question i have use this RegKey:

If i now click start->settings i have the standard windows settings menu and i found a TuochWize ICON and i clicked on it and the option ON was selected so i selected OFF but now if i click on start i get the samsung menu and not the standard WinMo menu. O_o
I have a WinMo v6.5
