Hi 1.2 and radio links are not working :D

Both working fine here, I'm just waiting for my Hero to reboot with 2.1 now...

Reboot took about 3 minutes. You definitely need to wipe your data or it hangs on bootup.

It works fine, but it is very sluggish and things are quite unstable.

The updated Google maps with navigation is in there, menu structure looks nicer and makes a bit more sense (pun not intended)

Not much benefit over MCR and it's got a lot of holes in it. Back to MCR 2.9/Tek 1.9 for me!

Before anyone tries anything stupid.... It's for GSM! Do not attempt to install on a CDMA. A few have already tried and ended up with expensive paperweights. :D

Nice!

I'm a bit wary because I used the base ROM and know how early it was, but this is definitely cool!

In addition, it gives us a 2.6.29 kernel to work with...

Hi,

Would it be possible to include the SpeechSynthesis thing, so Google Nav will work? Or does anyone have a link to the SpeechSynthesis.apk file so I can install it manually?

As the Market still isn't working, I can't download the Speech thing, and still can't use Google Nav - I couldn't find the Speech thing on the other market store included with this ROM.

Cheers,

Martin.

can anyone confirm if bluetooth file transfer works? tried sending a file from the wife's phone but it just fails to connect. does this mean there's still no bluetooth obex function in the official 2.1 rom?

By the looks of it its a ramp up to the official release. If you remember between the v1 to the v2 roms for the Hero there was about 4 to 5 roms from HTC which fixed more and more issues as they go along.

I'm assuming we'll get more ROM's from HTC and then an 'Official' Released ROM which will be what most of the customs ROM's are based off.

Hope they start coming thick and fast now :D looks good.

Looking promising don't know if apps 2 SD is working not found my ext4 partition, but like the power control that's sweet. Guns stick with Monaco 3 for now. The JU radio works just fine don't need to flash the HU like advised in the first post

just tried it and while it looks promising, its WAY too slow and buggy (no suprise there!). Cant wait till it becomes official, as i really like the updated lock screen and the settigns page. :D
