Hi, i am looking to buy a Acer Liquid or Motorola Milestone...

It seems Milestone is more polished system but i don't like the physical keyboard and it's £100 more expensive.

Has anyone know the ability of multi-touch function on Acer Liquid? or if any apps support it?

Thanks!

Hardware supports it, software doesnt afaik anyway

From what I've read on GSMArena, Droid packs multitouch out-of-the-box in EMEA region.

I believe this is to be a feature of Google Android 2.xx versions.

If it is the case, and only if it is, we should have this on our superb Liquids.

Otherwise, I doubt Acer will develop multitouch software support on its own.

Anyone know anymore ?

Anyone knows why we have to wait until January for version 2.0?

Is there an agreement between Motorola and Google to give the Android 2.0 only to Motorola for the rest of 2009?

i hope it's not the same case like the samsung galaxy, where it doesn't have the mult touch driver itself, even if it had a capacitive touch screen...

but with that said, how can HTC hero have multi-touch support even if it's running 1.5 only?

HTC enabled Multi-touch on the Hero as they are allowed, Google just refuses to do it as part of nativate software, but since HTC is using their Sense UI they can do basically whatever they want.
