Guest David Strange
If you go here: http://www.mugenpowerbatterijen.nl/ and search for TG01 you'll find an array of more powerful batteries. I got one of the 1300mAh batteries which is the same size as the original one and has 30% more power. Cheers, David.

Guest The Real Mc Coy
I ordered a ML one (2600mAh) a few weeks ago. It was marked "Out of stock" but I got it 2/3 weeks later. My TG01 now lasts more 3 days with very heavy use (more than 2 hours video playback per day with bluetooth headset always connected) ! The ML battery comes with a bigger back but it's OK for me. Guest adzman808
my battery gauge is hilarity... after 13hrs of mains charging = 100% 5mins of wifi, no BT, phone always on gsm mode, no location services running, no gprs data connection........ ...........& by 3pm 25% remaining.... i didn't even make a call...... do i have a duff battery or a duff battery gauge (ie the phoen thinks the battery is low on juice, but it isn't) should i bjtch to orange or just buy the mugen one? perhaps both :)
Guest The Real Mc Coy
Wifi drains battery very fast but it depends also on your backlight and power saving settings... With a Mugen ML battery I can use the TG01 as a portable media player for hours or surf on Internet by Wifi ou 3G ! Standard battery sucks... Guest adzman808
Standard battery sucks... yeah i'd say - seeing as i'm getting 4 hours from no 3g/hspda/bt/calls/sms & only 5mins of wifi a soft reset seemed to help tho.... Battery gauge out of sync? think i might get a mugen... although not the one with the new rear cover as it's dog ugly !! OEM batteries are a easy target for any OEM procurement team.... Guest David Strange
The standard battery gauge on WinMo6.5 is not terribly informative. I have installed DCIBattery, which you can read about on this page. It shows a coloured thin bar across the top of the screen (not in fullscreen applications) which gives the remaining battery power in 10% increments. To make it run automatically on startup copy the .exe to /windows/startup/ on the device (not storage card), it is only 6kb so won't eat your ram or storage space. The Mugen 1300mAh battery is certainly an improvement over the Tosh standard offering, but I am sorely tempted to get one of the 'pregnancy bulge' 2600mAh batteries for when I am going to be far from a charger. The TG01 is a great phone, but with that big screen set to maximum brightness, Wifi connected and playing music over bluetooth headphones it is a serious battery muncher. Cheers, David.
