Guest luthepa1
Hi All, I have been a long time iPhone user who finally came over to the android side with the release of the Acer Liquid as android phone(s) hardware specs were starting to finally meet my needs. But one thing that is annoying me is the virtual keyboard. I find it a lot harder to type quick/sloppy than I did on iPhone. I then installed the HTC_IME keyboard apk and found the accuracy of touch typing to comparable to iPhone and so I am happy for that. However the HTC_IME keyboard on the liquids screen res look like crap. But with that I see that a calibration could be done. I have even read posts that said you should be able to go to text & local -> touch input -> calibrate. But on a default liquid there is no such option (once again). Is anyone aware of how to calibrate the stock virtual keyboard on liquid? Or any better keyboard replacements? I have tried shapewriter (did not like), swype keyboard (seemed to have good accuracy as well). Thanks. Edited January 6, 2010 by luthepa1
