THX.
This tool can only flash. Bin of the ROM, I already have a 1.004.00-EMEA-GEN1.bin, and updates to my liquid. Do you have 1.001.05-AAP-CSL. Bin?
I prefer to use CHINESE operating system

This thread has stock roms: http://android.modac...001-05-aap-csl/
They are not in .bin format, but that shouldn't stop you from flashing them using the method outlined in that thread. These roms do not have root access, it just says that they have been tested with the program that gives root access.
Flashing one of these images will return your phone to stock (how you bought it)

I downloaded and used this ROM, but my liquid will always be the restart, unable to enter the android system.
I think my phone can not be used FASTBOOT to update the ROM, can only use Acer Download Tool for A1 to flash.bin format.

did you attempt to root your phone? you will need to use alternate superboot to root the CSL roms as normal superboot causes bootloop. Though if you have never attempted to get root, its probably something else!
You could try getting root to see if it fixes boot loop? you can always reflash stock rom to remove root access

Do I need to prepare my phone before using the dowload tool? It get's stuck with an "Error: Server Connection Fail"? I must admit I'm running the tool in a virtual WinXP environment because I don't use windows. I installed the Acer Liquid drivers and see two serial ports COM5 and COM6 that are Liquid related (Communications and DIAG).

Just answering myself for the sake of documentation: No need to prepare the phone, just don't use Virtualbox to run windows but use a windows on real hardware installation (preferably XP).

I use on Vmware on my mac and it works perfectly, just install the drivers before and wait them finish the installing, than connect your phone and wait it been recognized by the system, than you can start playing.

Ok guys, I do NOT have a plain old Windows machine at all. All Linux
So, how do I successfully run Acer Download Tool? I'm getting that dreaded "server not connected" error too.
Isn't there another way to install a BIN file instead of using the acer downcrap tool?
Thanks, -t

Um, which vmware product do you install for that?
I may have to install vmware just because of this problem
Btw, I'm just trying to root this phone..

1- Reinstall the Liquid USB Drivers
2- Try to connect the phone while in recovery mode (switcfh off phone, then hold Camera Button + Volume Down + Power until you hear 3 rapid vibrations)
