to disable the WM6.5 auto lock just get rid of the 'AutoKeyLock.lnk' in the folder were are the applications invoked during startup (it's a windows 'subfolder') and soft reset.

(You can just move this link file elsewhere to quickly restore it if you want it back) .

After that you can activate the lockscreen by tapping on 'start' and 'lock' (left softkey) and programs like phoneAlarm do it without a problem if you, for example, configured to lock on power on.

P.S.

Why HD2 people don't go this way?

P.P.S.

Does anyone know how to invoke the lock screen? I mean: Which is the exe to call to get into the lockscreen? (and would be great to know even how to unlock) ... just for automation purpose

Already answered here: ....And it works !!

To stop the 'Slide to Lock' screen appearing at power-on, use File Explorer to go to Windows/Startup and remove the 'Autokeylock.lnk' file (in fact it's safer to copy it somewhere like My Documents first, in case you want it back!)
