Quick google of the "customs commodity code" listed on the invoice (85177015) shows that that's actually the code for a telescopic antenna! Correct code for a mobile phone is 85171200. So I called up DHL, the nice guys said there should be no duty with mobile communications devices so will get in touch with HMC and send me a recalculated bill. Doesn't matter at least its over and done with and now I can enjoy my N1 (£60.16) **Edit: DHL had the cheek to try and charge me again by sending me an invoice through the post.
