I'm back once again,but no not to fight,but to get messy with your personal stuff,just curious you know ;) I've noticed that in almost all of your posts you've repeated " I work with developers on all platforms, and I have had WM devices for over 10 years (almost 12 now I think!!)"(which means you work with so many great people,you must be some super rich dude then,maybe you could hire me too so that I can burst the heads off of your rivals) and you say you need a laptop and then finally say iPhone has replaced your laptop for one whole week now. Are you trying to say you do the remote desktop support stuff or is it that you found the iPhone keyboard so awesome so started coding for your stuff whatever that you do for the developers? Just curious though its impolite to ask but couldn't resist my curiosity you know,I mean laptop being replaced by iPhone? You seriously gotta be kidding unless all you do is some remote support stuff or the beta testing? Hope you won't mind me asking these :D Pretty illiterate on platform developer stuff! 12 years,a long time,the time length that takes for a child to complete his school and move on to college!!! Oh I also got something to say too,I've used linux from back in old days when they were talking about the graphical user interface or the X thing,I also did some kernel and other modding stuff with redhat+fedora team but I never claim that I know all the goods and bads of linux,even today I have OpenSUSE installed in my home PC though don't do much in that. Just working with something doesn't make you the best,I believe even the coders who wrote winmo doesn't even know too much about it except the part they did work for! And Finally to the point and everyone's help is required,the poor guy who started this thread hoping for some good apps was totally ignored which is way too rude. Lets listup some good apps that he can use,and am specially expecting Sonicr360/Simon to give us a good one since he is the guy living with winmo for the longest time compared to any of us,thats a lot I think,good enough to know a good list of apps. Please list here any good ones that resemble somewhat iPhone stuff. I found these: -PCMImage Viewer: Here -Resco Keyboard: Use google,you'll find a copy with keygen,this keyboard by default comes with a skin resembling that of iPhone -Throttle Explorer: Here -iFonz 2: Here -Phone Extension 2 : it has some nice large buttons doesn't resemble the iPhone but will make you feel like calling with one.Use google again and you'll find a cracked one too... -Opera Mobile 10 : Here It has some nice skin and much less buggy a bit slow though,almost feels like I'm browsing through the iPhone(to some extent) desktop! - Skype: Here its one of the shiny im I've found both on desktop and winmo,probably you can use it if you like blue color! What else? I'll look around and come back with some more if I find any. :D Great news(probably) winmo 7 will only support two resolutions which are supposed to be "WVGA and FWVGA (854×480)",and here is a little quote from microsoft that I've been saying billions of times Our fragmentation issue is primarily around screen resolutions and assuming a minimum CPU and storage. Can we get back to original question? I think instead of pointing out all the pros and cons we help each other find fun and useful apps for our WinMo phones. I want some kick ass FPS like the ones above, or a nice bejeweled type app that works flawlessly with my touch screen (the popcap one sucks). I do not think they will - I have provided links and posts featuring apps / games / utilities and its never been a problem for me. So just wondering. I was hoping to let people know that finally apple has created something that really impressed me,guess what - iPad. I'll buy one as soon as they sell those in our local market,no locks no useless bluetooth and all the good stuff from iPhone and much more! An iPad and an Android PDA :D what else do you need ? Finally God smiled upon me ,now I don't have to buy an i(diot)Phone but can enjoy all of its good features for a minimal cost! Local CP Union here declared the least price to be 510.99USD for the 16 GB one and max to 872.49USD for 64GB! Now that is what I call a reasonable price. Guest rowlf Posted February 6, 2010 Report Share Posted February 6, 2010 Simon,I've just looked through several android app/game shops and several warez sites(I spend most of my times there) too and found that the gaming quality is very much or justs say twin to our Java for Winmo,quality!! I can't find much difference between them except the screen resolution is a bit bigger than mine. Side by side on my omnia and a video demonstration of android game,both racing,I find them same!! So may I decide that Android isn't going to do anything better in gaming sector then? Several sites claim android apps and games are build over java codes,I suppose thats why they are very much similar.... but its too early to conclude anything,I'll wait and watch,its just Android 2.1 after all right? ;) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was an omnia owner come to a few weeks ago, i liked it when i first got it (but then compared it to an iphone... mistake!), but soon learned to hate it at times... I was so close to buying an iphone for my upgrade a few weeks ago, all my friends and family have them and ill admit it... they are great. They are JUST great. They do exactly what they say they will (pretty perfectly) but nothing more.... Theres no excitement... I bought an HTC HD2, ive had it over a week now and have fallen in love. With its capacitive HD screen and its 1GHz processor, it runs so smoothly, and the HTC sense that completely covers winmo is great, on a par with mac for sure. I would say that the HTC HD2 is a fairer comparison to the iphone, and wins hands down. With more phones like this coming out, the apps market will surely take off, and with winmo7 coming, its just a matter of time...
