I've been using the HTC Menu enhancements for several months and love them. I've recently started using the dialog boxes as well and just today got the notification enhancements to work. I'm not sure if it's possible to get working via cab or not. I cook a lot of stuff in. If there's enough interest i could try.

If anyone else has gotten HTC enhancements to work on your Omnia let me know i'd love to see what you've done.

Here's a picture of what i'm talking about with the notification enhancement.

I'll try to get the right combination of packages needed and see if i can cab it up. I'm still trying to get a few things tweaked.

Have you had a look at the Omnia Lite apllications ?

Alarm, phone book, call register, calender etc, all very user / finger friendly

Yes i did. I want to add that htc enhancments give an upgrade to all features. Not only callendar, alarm and etc. It integrates with widnows menus etc... That's why i want it so badly & BTW IMHO omnia lite applications are very poor...

Here are my OEM's that i'm using right now. This does notifications as well as menu's. I have modified these from the originals to make them work. can't remember exactly what i did but it involved replacing some DLL's.

THIS IS NOT MY WORK! All credits go to the original authors of the individual pieces. I just put them together in a certain order that made them work on the i910.

NOTE: On first boot it will display an error with HTCmessagebox.exe just hit quit then move your finger to the upper corner (sometimes if you tap the upper corner to get to the home screen after first boot it will just bring down the notification bar. so i just slide up to it.) then restart and that message shouldn't pop up anymore. if it does just manually launch HTCmessagebox.exe located in the windows directory. Also the first menu you select after a reboot will look like the original style but after that it should be the HTC style. if you want to change the SIP by holding down on the SIP icon you have to disable "Menu for SIP" in HTCMenuLoaderConfig.

Any questions i'll try to answer them for you. Please post any improvements you may come across.

I'm not sure that will work i think some of it has to be cooked in. There are a few modules in there that might not work if cab'd... someone is more than welcome to try.

I can say that it works like a charm. I can use the rhodium or htc mega enhancments. It depends what kind of enhancement you will install.

Well there are some situations were some more enhancements could be added... but i think that it is available only with enhancements coocked in a rom.

I can say that those cabs partially work with win6.1.  The menus work, but activating an option by touchscreen doesn't.  You select with touch and then have to hit your center button to activate.
I'm getting ready to try the OEMs.  I do know that having the OEM directories inside another directory (I did OEM\HtcEnhancements\xxx) causes Vistang's Visual Kitchen to error.
JJ

Edit...
Well, it looks like the same thing with the OEM.  I'm guessing it works fine for everyone else, so it's probably just a 6.1 issue.

using the menu enhancement on my omnia i900 and works great. except theres 1 problem. if i open a new sms and then i try to cancel it, it does not go back to my home screen. instead it just stays there after the notification 'Do you want to save the msg in your draft folder?'. any idea how i can fix that?

also the notification enhancements. where can i get it?
