Like my previous bootscreens, I have included a version where it has a nicer transition between the bootscreen and the splash, this is what the "Hero Console Hybrid" is. This bootscreen took me a few hours to make, frame by frame, so please take some time to give some feedback B) The .zip files are ALL in update.zip format, so you can flash them via the recovery menu. The .rar file at the bottom contains all 4 .zip files inside. Depending what app you're using you should just be able to change the hue/saturation settings to achieve that. Hopefully not frame-by-frame again for your sake. I'm using GIMP and Animation Shop Pro, gimp tells me my layers aren't RGB and Animation Shop Pro requires me to export all the frames to paintshop pro >_> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

How would it help debugging? It would be better to do it on PC as you can actually copy and paste and scroll through the logcat. Nice work.. however, I would prefer pure text-mode startup myself (as in no pre-animated bootscreen but real-time boot-up text) - is this possible somehow? Deleting the boot animations doesen't accomplish anything, the screen just remains black during the boot-up. Impossible, unless you go and spend weeks and bake a ROM with it. I'm not sure, there 2 boot things, one is the splash which depends on your SPL, and the other one is the boot animation. Also, you must have a recovery image to flash the file...
