Nice post, will try it when i get back home.
Btw, i think this will also work on other languages (perhaps you can post screens for that too?)

And another question: are you going to update this ROM with new features and changes in the future?

In the feature i want to update this ROM, maybe update WM to 6.5.x.

I'm glad that there are users able to build a rom for our devices.
but I think we should focus on really 'tuning' the device.

for instance:
is you disable Large Indicator, the dll still gets loaded into ram:

largeindicator.dll
same for: xclosebutton.dll

I actually don't care about the few apps that everyone removes in there ROM.
It doesn't free up ram. just some ROM, but hey.. that's why there is a MicroSD slot on the device.

So I think the 'tuning' can be done without flashing a rom.

one more example: ScreenCapture.exe -> I suppose it is for the samsung taskswitcher. It must uses some ram.
so how to disable it? removing it's link from start up folder isn't enough.

Deleting those files and rebuild a rom, isn't a solution either.
They causes system / application exceptions. So I'm not really a fan of deleting files.

of course sometimes you can't prevent an application will load some dll's.
for example: if samsung decides to load (wich isn't, it's an example) the xclosebutton.dll in de keyboard driver.. then there is nothing we can do about it.

I have only found a tutorial to flash with W7 32-bit. Could anyone tell me how I should do it with the 64-bit version of Windows 7?
Thanks in advance!

The only way to detect these issues is to have good knowledge of the phone (hardware / software). Without some experiments like this one (no offense) you will get some experience along the way and if we have a more active community it will help big time. The reason that we don't have much roms now is that the phone isnt sold everywhere and that the Omnia 2 is more marketed.

Deleting program's isnt really a new rom and i know that the more difficult changes cost more time to solve, but you have to start somewhere. Also: WM isnt that programmer friendly like iPhone or Android.

I hope that this Rom wil evolve in a great addition to this community and that this is the first of many!

(P.S. i see that the downloads contain CRC errors and need to be reuploaded. I know that the TS is working on it and hope to be able to try it soon. I already like it that we have a nice file-hoster with decent speeds! )

I've just flashed my mobile with your rom, but i have some thing i would like to share:
From the home/windows page. Internet explorer is used instead of Opera, no option to change?
and windows media player is used, not touch player

Did you do this on purpose...or things to be changed in the future?

Right now i'm testing a new ROM with a pagepool of 12 instead of the default 20. Expect a new release of this ROM this week (if testing goes well)
