Its verry nice, but when i come to the step rebuilding the rom, someting go's wrong When i am at the steps into dos it look likes the NEW_rom_dump.bin doesnt come. So far it is going well till the step: change the vallue of the rom after that i guess it has te make some new_rom_dum.bin or someting? Do you know whats going wrong in this progress? Thanks allot! Goodmorning here are my steps: 1 Install the kitchen 1.Extract the kitchen on a drive you like, but don’t use spaces in the path. No problems 2.I use c:\kitchen No problems 2 Extract the ROM from your device 1.Copy tools\dskdump.exe to your storage card and run it, keep your phone on and wait a few minutes until you get a message that the ROM is dumped. No problems 2.Copy the output (rom_dump.bin) of the tool from your storage card to the root of the kitchen No problems 3 Dump the extracted ROM 1.Open Command Prompt in the root of your kitchen. No problems 2.Type without the quotes “1_dump.bat rom_dump.bin” No problems 3.Wait and check for errors.. No problems (only the fault runtime error) 4.At the ending you will have some dumped files and folders (if you didn’t receive any errors) No problems But when i look into this folders: Folder/file Description Dump Empty folder from the dump process OEM All OEM files, here you will add your customizations This folder is emty All OEM files are in the SYS Folder SYS SYS files of WM ROM XIP dump Removed Move all your deleted files to this folder when customizing a ROM, you can also create back-up of files here. So if i Delete: Skymarket. I have to move this files to the folder Removed?! boot.bin ? imgfs.bin IMGFS file from rom_dump.bin msflsh.bin ? rom_dump.bin Your original dump file (OS.NB) XIP.bin XIP file from rom_dump.bin 4 Now you can customize!! 1.On the internet are enough resources to help you. Check Modaco and XDA and Google is your best friend! But this time i do no customs, I change notting in the rom, and go to the next step 5 Package (rebuilding ROM) 1.Open Command Prompt in the root of the kitchen No problems 2.Type: ”2_packOS.bat” No problems 3.This will run BuildOS, click on the green play button and wait, fix errors before continue! No problems 4.If BuildOS is ready (done) close it, the script will continue No problems 5.For more information on this step, see comments in the: 2_packOS.bat problems!!! The first step buildOS No problems - complete so I close the program, and go back to the command (dos) The next step: Creating imgfs-new.bin in \temp folder please wait If not exist: Copy your imgfs file [rom_dump.bin] to \ROM\ and Rename it to imgfs.src Druk op een toets om door te gaan In the \ROM\ I have the file imgfs.src so I should enter it? I will do that afther this enter it has to create imgfs-NEW.bin or is this wrong? In the folder \Temp i cant found a imgf-NEW.bin The next step I have to change the file size I will do that with 010 editor So that should be good? no problems? druk op een toets om door te gaan The next thing ill see is the OS ROM Partition TOOL v1.48 Here its giving a ERROR: Can Not open the source Uncompress file the next step ill have to do is Open rom_dump.bin.new with 010 and delete the last FF (to free some space) Cant find this file? were should it be? I think the progress is allready wrong at the point that it "should create imgf-new.bin' So i cant do this step So thats all? Realy dont understand because i didn't do anyting in the rom!? what went wrong? Guest Posted March 17, 2010 Report Share Posted March 17, 2010 hi ronald i searched whole of madaco and could not find this even i asked Rodrigofd but no proper solution i have b7610 from which i extracted the louvre.mli file and then i flashed it with secanys wm6.5 rom but it was a mst file so it replaced the original louvre file in my phone now how to get the original wm 6.1 louvre.mli file to my phone or is there a way to convert louvre.mli to .mst or a tool to copy mli back to the phone............ please help ............................
