Hey whats up everyone.

I have a Blackjack 2 i617. I was doing a LCD Replacement. I kind of screwed up and broke the connector for the speaker. Not the ear one, the loud one. Any suggestions? Is it possible to solder the wires directly? I do remember the red wire goes where it says SP and the black wire goes where it has the arrow

And another problem im having is after the screen replacement, the phone is getting stuck at the windows mobile screen. I tried the hard reset I had no luck. It does show the rogers start-up and turn of annimations....

Could the disconnected loudspeaker be causing the problem?

You mean the connector for the mic? I broke that one off too taking the phone apart, where the wire attaches up near the screen, but it was kind of a male/female connector that looked like it was made of solder metal. Anyway it popped back on fairly tight and I haven't had any problems with it. Pretty sure that soldering it back on would do it if you've got the ability to do it.

Stuck at the WinMo screen--vaguely remember that problem being discussed a while back, so it might not be a hardware issue. Think I even had it and did a hard restart, which cured it, so I'm not sure why it's not working for you. Anyway, search here in the old threads a year or year and a half back. Might also try taking the battery out, unplug the AC adapter and wait 30 minutes or so, then doing a hard restart.
