I used to have a seperate app for Google Talk but I can't find it for my Desire - can anyone help?

On mine it's just called 'Talk'. What firmware do you have?

Orange.

I see the services are there in the apps list but no "Talk" app either.

I've seen them do this to a couple of other phones before, I think they probably want everyone to use:

I just posted this on XDA, but I'll repost here.

I got a 2.1 ROM from xda (Cannon I believe), and extracted Talk.apk out of that. Installed it using ASTRO, and it works fine.
